These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Consonia platform at consonia.app, operated by Leading srl STP, Via Lazzaretto 1, 20060 Gessate (MI), Italy ("we", "us", "our").
By creating an account or using Consonia, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
Consonia is an AI-assisted tool designed to support recruiters, HR professionals, and hiring teams in evaluating cultural and systemic fit between candidates and an existing team. It maps the team's cultural grid from interview transcripts and provides evidence-based readings of how each candidate resonates with that grid.
Important disclaimer. Consonia is a decision-support tool, not a decision-making tool. The output it generates does not constitute a hiring decision and must not be used as the sole or primary basis for hiring, rejecting, or otherwise affecting candidates. Final hiring decisions are made by humans, on the recruiter's full judgement. AI-generated readings are evidence to be considered, not verdicts to be applied.
You must be at least 18 years old to use Consonia. By registering, you represent that you are an HR professional, recruiter, hiring manager, or work in a recruiting-related capacity, and that all information you provide is accurate.
When you register, you create both a user account and an organisation. You are the administrator of that organisation. Depending on your plan, you may invite additional recruiters to your organisation. You are responsible for the activity of all users you add.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. Notify us immediately at support@consonia.app if you suspect unauthorised access.
You agree to use Consonia only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You must not:
This section constitutes the Data Processing Agreement ("DPA") between you, the Customer ("Controller"), and Leading srl STP ("Processor"), as required by Article 28 GDPR. By accepting these Terms you enter into this DPA. It supplements, and does not replace, our Privacy Policy.
The Processor stores, transmits to AI sub-processors, and displays the interview transcripts and content you upload in order to generate cultural grid parameters and candidate evaluation readings. The primary database is hosted in Cloudflare's EU-East region.
Processing is carried out exclusively to operate the Consonia platform on your behalf, acting solely on your documented instructions (principally the actions you take within the platform).
Personal data processed may include: names and job titles of team members and candidates, professional background, and the full content of interview transcripts, which may contain additional personal or sensitive information at the Controller's discretion. Data subjects are the team members and candidates whose transcripts you upload.
Processing continues for the duration of your active account. On account deletion all searches, transcripts, grid parameters, and evaluations are deleted. Billing records are retained as required by applicable law (see Privacy Policy).
The Processor shall:
The Processor currently engages the following sub-processors. Where they are located outside the EU/EEA, transfers are carried out under Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) approved by the European Commission.
You are solely responsible for ensuring that your legal basis for processing under GDPR is valid (typically consent or legitimate interest with a documented assessment), that team members and candidates have been appropriately informed about AI use in the evaluation process (see our Ethical Commitment for a candidate-notice template), and that you honour any rights they exercise.
Consonia uses AI to assist hiring decisions. AI use in employment and recruitment is classified as high-risk under the EU AI Act. As a deployer of an AI system in this domain, you must:
Consonia provides tooling to support these obligations (verbatim citations, editable grid, no automatic ranking) but the legal responsibility to comply rests with you.
Consonia operates on a credit system. Each search (one open position) consumes one credit. Plans are available as monthly subscriptions (Solo, Agency, Enterprise) or as one-time credit packages.
The Consonia platform, including its design, prompts, evaluation framework, and the structure of the cultural grid, is owned by Leading srl STP. You retain ownership of any transcripts you upload and of the grid parameters you edit.
AI-generated readings (grid parameters, candidate evaluations, verbatim citations) are provided to you for use within your hiring process. You may share them within your organisation and with candidates for transparency. You may not republish or commercialise them in a way that implies they are official assessments of any third party.
We aim to keep Consonia available at all times but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features at any time. For material changes affecting paid subscribers, we will provide at least 30 days' notice.
AI model outputs are inherently probabilistic. We do not warrant that any reading will be accurate, complete, or consistent across runs. Human review and professional judgement must always accompany AI-generated readings.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Leading srl STP shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of Consonia, including but not limited to damages resulting from hiring decisions, candidate disputes, or claims of discrimination.
Our total aggregate liability for any claim arising under these Terms shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
Our collection and use of personal data is described in our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms.
You may delete your account at any time from your account settings. We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms, with or without notice depending on the severity of the breach.
On termination, your access to the service ends immediately. Searches, transcripts, grid parameters, and evaluations stored in your account will be deleted. Billing records required by law are retained as described in the Privacy Policy.
These Terms are governed by the laws of Italy. Any dispute arising from these Terms or your use of Consonia shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Milan (MI), Italy, except where mandatory consumer protection law in your country of residence provides otherwise.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be notified to registered users by email. Continued use of Consonia after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
